Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this driver job advert will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the high standards our clients have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe Transportation: Drive vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections on vehicles, ensuring they are compliant with safety regulations and report any maintenance needs.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals and efficient operations.
• Accurate Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required by company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A or B, depending on the vehicle type).
• Strong knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to navigate using GPS and maps.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) as required.
