Role Overview
As a Swimming Teacher with GLL, your primary role will be to deliver swimming lessons to participants of all ages and abilities. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for everyone. Whether you’re teaching children to swim for the first time or helping adults improve their technique, your impact will be significant.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons tailored to the participant’s skill levels.
- Maintain a keen awareness of safety standards and emergency protocols at all times.
- Provide feedback to swimmers to aid in their progression and enhance their skills.
- Encourage a positive learning environment that fosters confidence and enjoyment in swimming.

Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Current ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching swimming to various age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
- An understanding of safeguarding and health and safety standards in a swimming environment.
- First Aid qualification (desirable but not mandatory).
