Position Overview

The Sale Purchase Entry Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all sales and purchase transactions. This role requires a meticulous approach to data entry and a strong understanding of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input sales and purchase data into our accounting software.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records by verifying details and correcting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare monthly reports and forecasts.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels and processing purchase orders.
• Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and paper records.
• Respond to inquiries regarding transactions, payments, and account adjustments.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures for financial transactions and reporting.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in finance or accounting is preferred.
• Proven experience in a sales/purchase data entry or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
