Your Role

As part of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality subtitles that accurately reflect the original dialogue, ensuring that they are culturally relevant and engaging for Turkish audiences. Your main tasks will include:

• Translating and adapting scripts from English (or other languages) into Turkish.
• Creating subtitles that match timing and character limits while maintaining the essence of the dialogue.
• Reviewing and proofreading final subtitles to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborating closely with editors and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Staying updated on industry trends and linguistic developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of quality for all translations and subtitles.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Fluency in Turkish and excellent command of English (or other relevant languages).
• Proven experience in translation, subtitling, or related fields.
• Familiarity with subtitling software (e.g., Aegisub, Subtitle Edit, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• A degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience working in the media, entertainment, or localization industries.
• Knowledge of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in Turkish.
